Glengoyne

Inspired by Sir Arthur John Tedder – the exciseman stationed at Glengoyne who helped define the very rules of Scotch whisky – this release honours his role as first witness at the 1908 Royal Commission that settled the debate on what whisky truly was. Matured in the finest American oak sherry casks, it reflects Tedder’s exacting standards and the unhurried Glengoyne way, celebrating a legacy of craftsmanship and pursuit of perfection.

Glengoyne 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a delicate and elegant expression, known for its gentle maturation process using air-dried barley and sherry casks. The result is a whisky with a light, golden hue and a smooth, balanced flavor profile, featuring notes of fresh green apples, toffee, and a subtle nuttiness. Its clean and refreshing finish makes it an approachable yet refined choice for both new whisky drinkers and connoisseurs.

Glengoyne The Russell Family Cask 36 Years Old is a decadent and rewarding single malt, aged in a refill sherry butt for over 36 years. With only 402 bottles released, it is one of Glengoyne's oldest and most exclusive whiskies. 

It presents a deep amber color and offers aromas of light strawberry and lime sherbet, gentle mint, lemon meringue pie, stewed apples, coconut, sweet cinnamon, and leather. On the palate, it is silky and rich, with creamy textures and a charming dustiness, revealing tropical fruits, dried banana chips, and chocolate cherry. The finish is rich, gently sherried, and spicy, showcasing the harmonious blend of cask and spirit.
