Espresso Martini
Ingredients:
- 25ml vodka
- 25ml coffee liqueur (such as Kahlúa)
- 1 shot (25ml) of espresso
- 1 tablespoon caster sugar
- Ice cubes
- Coffee beans for garnish (optional)
Instructions:

Prepare the sugar syrup: In a small saucepan, combine the caster sugar with 50ml of water. Stir over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat and allow it to cool.

Chill the martini glasses: Place 2 martini glasses in the refrigerator to chill.

Make the cocktail: In a cocktail shaker, add a handful of ice cubes, vodka, coffee liqueur, espresso shot, and 1 tablespoon of the cooled sugar syrup.

Shake vigorously: Shake the cocktail shaker until the outside feels icy cold.

Strain and serve: Strain the cocktail into the chilled martini glasses.

Garnish: Optionally, garnish each glass with a few coffee beans for decoration.
