Tamdhu Quercus Alba Distinction is a limited-edition release showcasing the unique qualities of first-fill American oak sherry casks. Beginning in North America’s oak forests, the wood is transported to Spain, where it is air-dried under the Mediterranean sun and crafted into casks over six years in the famed “sherry triangle.” Seasoned with Oloroso sherry, the casks are then sent to Tamdhu, where they mature the distillery’s vibrant spirit. This process results in a whisky rich with fruity flavors and a stunning natural amber hue, highlighting the elegance of American oak sherry cask maturation.
