A vibrant and elegant single malt with a bright, summery character, The Balvenie Pedro Ximénez Cask Finish is matured in traditional oak before being finished in casks that previously held rich Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry.

PX is a Spanish white grape variety known for producing intensely sweet, dessert-style wines, thanks to the warm Spanish climate that allows the grapes to develop exceptional richness and depth.

Building on The Balvenie’s long-standing relationship with sherry cask maturation, this expression showcases the distillery’s dedication to selecting exceptional casks to create layers of complexity and refinement.

Tasting Notes

Nose:
A luxurious medley of raisin, bursting currants and soft oak, with hints of clove and delicate lavender sweetness.

Palate:
A refined fusion of tart grape skin, mandarin and fig, balanced with vibrant oak, silky texture, and a gentle honeyed sweetness.

Finish:
Long, elegant and unmistakably Balvenie — leaving a lingering impression of fruit, spice and refined sweetness.

Inspired to create an even fruitier and sweeter expression of Balvenie, Apprentice Malt Master Kelsey McKechnie introduced Virgin Oak barrels from Kentucky to the maturation process. After being deeply toasted at The Balvenie Cooperage, the barrels were filled with Balvenie whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks. The result is a beautifully complex whisky, rich with layers of candied fruit, toasted coconut, and delicate vanilla, delivering an elegant balance of sweetness and depth.

Arran 25 Year Old Single Malt

The Isle of Arran Distillery was established in 1995 at Lochranza, a perfect location for whisky production with pure soft water, fresh sea air, and an ideal island climate. Arran has a rich whisky history, once home to more than 50 distilleries in the 19th century, with its malt whisky celebrated as among Scotland’s finest.

The long-awaited Arran 25 Year Old was released to celebrate 25 years of craftsmanship. Matured in a combination of 35% ex-sherry and 65% ex-bourbon casks, followed by further maturation in first-fill and refill sherry hogsheads, this exceptional single malt is bottled at 46% ABV — showcasing two and a half decades of Arran’s whisky heritage.

Port Charlotte PMC:01 is where Islay smoke gets a little seductive, a little dressed up in velvet.

Distilled at Bruichladdich from 2013 vintage spirit, it’s a heavily peated single malt (around 40ppm) that still keeps that signature Port Charlotte balance — smoke, but make it elegant. What makes this one different is the finish in Pomerol wine casks (yes, boujee Bordeaux energy), which wraps the peat in layers of dark fruit and softness.

What you’re tasting:

• Nose: smoky bonfire, red berries, plum, a hint of chocolate and oak
• Palate: earthy peat + stewed fruits, spice, toasted oak, a little wine sweetness slipping through
• Finish: long, warming, smoky with a fruity, slightly dry fade

It’s bottled at 50% ABV, non-chill filtered, no added colour — so you’re getting it raw, real, and a little dangerous.

Smokehead Terminado is a limited edition Islay single malt Scotch whisky finished in ex-tequila casks, a relatively new practice for Scotch. Its name means "finished" in Spanish, reflecting the cask-finishing process that adds agave notes, citrus, tropical fruit, and a peppery twist to Smokehead's signature peat smoke. Bottled at 43% ABV, it's a bold and unconventional whisky designed for those who enjoy powerful flavours.

This richly layered whisky began its journey aging for over eight years in premium American oak ex-Bourbon barrels. It was then transferred into hand-selected Moscatel casks for an additional 42 months, enhancing its depth and complexity.

Hand-selected by Kilchoman founder Anthony Wills, this expression combines fresh and refill Sauternes barriques from 2018 and earlier years. Tamdhu Quercus Alba Distinction is a limited-edition release showcasing the unique qualities of first-fill American oak sherry casks. Beginning in North America’s oak forests, the wood is transported to Spain, where it is air-dried under the Mediterranean sun and crafted into casks over six years in the famed “sherry triangle.” Seasoned with Oloroso sherry, the casks are then sent to Tamdhu, where they mature the distillery’s vibrant spirit.
