Gaelic for “Union”, and pronounced “noon-ouch”, this 10-year-old single malt is the perfect marriage of both the finest port finished Bunnahabhain, and sherry matured Bunnahabhain. Each of these has then been brought together post maturation, to form this unique spirit. The result is an intriguing intertwining auburn dram, alive with aromas of vanilla, caramel, and oak, and imbued with fulsome fruit flavors and a harmonious marriage of cinnamon spice and nuts.
Nose: Rich creamy vanilla with notes of brandy butter, caramel, indulgent berries, and a subtle hint of oak
Palate: Sweet red and black fruits are complemented with cinnamon spice, roasted nuts, and a slight saltiness coming through at the back
Finish: Long finish with a fading spice reminiscent of chili chocolate and hints of floral candy
