The distillery’s name refers to its location, a three-hour drive north of Edinburgh, nestled at the foot of Mount Ben Rinnes in a picturesque setting. Glenfarclas is considered one of the finest distilleries in Speyside. Its direct-fired stills produce a heavy single malt that is exclusively only matured in Jerez sherry casks.
This whisky is a rich golden amber color. the nose is complex, with hints of light butterscotch and dried fruit. It is full-bodied with a superb balance of malty tones and sherried sweetness. The finish is long-lasting, sweet, and distinguished.
