Kilchoman, Sauternes Cask Matured is a limited edition from Kilchoman, fully aged in ex-Sauternes wine casks. Hand-selected by Kilchoman founder Anthony Wills, this expression combines fresh and refill Sauternes barriques from 2018 and earlier years. The result is an extraordinary whisky with a rich balance of buttery sweetness, barbecued pineapple, candied ginger, and delicate floral peat smoke, showcasing the unique influence of Sauternes cask maturation.

Bottled from exceptionally rare casks filled during the distillery’s most challenging times, this whisky is the oldest in Ardbeg’s core range. It showcases that while age cannot diminish Ardbeg's signature smoky power, it can enhance and develop some of the most complex and majestic flavors ever crafted by the distillery. Ardbeg Corryvreckan is crafted from a blend of French oak casks, including Burgundy wine barrels.The whisky combines dark chocolate with cherry and plum mid-palate flavors, complemented by coffee, almond, and hickory-smoked meat. Notes of old leather, sweet tobacco, and clove add depth, while the long finish highlights coffee, white pepper, leather, French oak, and persistent hickory-smoked meat, creating a truly remarkable experience.
