Glenmorangie 18 Years Old Ex Rare Azuma Makoto Limited Edition (700ml)

Glenmorangie 18-year-old Extremely Rare Azuma Makoto Limited Edition this premium edition takes some ex-Bourbon matured whisky. That’s been aged for at least 15 years, and they dump it into ex-Oloroso casks. It matures further for at least another three years. This isn’t just straightforward dumping of 18+ yo spirit; it’s a 3-year finishing of a 15-year-old.

Firstly, Scotch whisky producer Glenmorangie has tapped Japanese floral artist Azuma Makoto to reimagine its 18 Years Old single-malt packaging. Inspired by Glenmorangie’s floral notes, Azuma Makoto created a floral work of art in his Tokyo studio, Dancing Flowers of Glenmorangie.

Secondly, Makoto chose flowers with scents that can be found in the whisky, along with Scottish flowers and other blooms from countries where Glenmorangie is available. Then thirdly, The design was translated onto the packaging of an 18-year-old Glenmorangie to create this Limited Edition Design. The Glenmorangie 18 Years Old is magnificent with its luxurious taste.

The 18th Years Old is a rare creation that blends the aromas of dried fruits and complex floral fragrances. The drink provides a silky feel and is balanced with honey, hazelnuts, walnuts, figs, and a hint of wood smoke.

With its one-of-a-kind flavor palette, the Glenmorangie 18 Years Old was awarded a Platinum medal by the American Spirits Council of Tasters and a Gold Award at the 2021 International Spirits Challenge.

The 18 Year Old pleases all whisky connoisseurs, even the most challenging person. A small sip is enough to feel the rich, rounded, and soft aroma. This whisky perfectly balances the sweet flavor of honey, malt, and flowery scents. Along with notes of solid smells of dates, figs, dried fruits, and wood smoke.
